Manually Readying the Telescope
===============================

To manually open the telescope (instead of using the openatsunset script)
follow this procedure.

Safety 
------

 #. Acquire resources via the checkbox.
 #. Clear the software e-stop.
 #. Reset the e-stop state.
 #. Unacquire resources.
 

Vent Doors
----------

 #. Acquire resources via the checkbox.
 #. Click open, wait for all three to say Open
 #. Unacquire resources. Dead man timer now running


Cooling Systems
---------------

 #. Acquire resources via the checkbox.
 #. Turn off fans on levels 2 and 3.
 #. Unacquire resources. 


General Systems
---------------

 #. Acquire resources via the checkbox.
 #. Disable fans 1 and 2.
 #. Unacquire resources. 


Azimuth
-------

 #. Acquire resources via the checkbox.
 #. Enable drive.
 #. Confirm that telescope is enabled and drive enable, both turn green.
 #. Unacquire resources. 


Open the dome
-------------

 #. Acquire resources via the checkbox.
 #. Select preferred angles. Move the Front shutter to a smaller value, the rear to a larger value.
 #. Unacquire resources.

Open the Mirror Covers
----------------------

On the telescope control GUI, select the
open button in the lower right corner.

You can now move the telescope.
